Creative Problem Solving through Design Thinking
A round table discussion with IESE Prof. Joaquim Vilà
Design Thinking is a human-centered approach that integrates the needs and desires of users with the possibilities of technology and the requirements of businesses. Significantly deviating from traditional methods, it is gaining wide acceptance in the business world to creatively solve complex, unstructured and wicked problems. Yet implementing design thinking requires a change in the way people operate, and many business professionals experience confusion and frustration when engaging in design thinking projects for the first time.
What are the key challenges and trade-offs management has to face when introducing Design Thinking? How do companies overcome obstacles to its implementation?
In this special ALP session, IESE Professor Joaquim Vilà will lead a round table of representatives from the leading companies who implement Design Thinking as a new managerial competence.
Please join us for a lively discussion and networking cocktail reception hosted by K&L Gates in conjunction with the California Spanish Chamber of Commerce.
