Ebola, Pandemics and Economics
Beyond the current crisis, Axel Lambert de Rouvroit (MBA 01 and IESE French Alumni Chapter president) will discuss the economic aspects of epidemics, pandemics and terrorism. These economic aspects are often viewed as limited to the cost of preparedness, overlooking the macroeconomic costs incurred by society when such disasters strike.
Axel Lambert de Rouvroit
Axel Lambert de Rouvroit is an independent consultant on health emergencies based out of France with particular focus in infectious diseases, vaccines and bioterrorism.
Mr. Lambert de Rouvroit is a former advisor of the French government. As an Independent Consultant since 2006, Mr. Lambert de Rouvroit advises WHO, the European Commission, The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and other institutions and companies.
Mr Lambert de Rouvroit followed specialised training programs at the French Army Medical School and at Harvard School of Public Health, in addition to his degree in microbiology from Imperial College, London and his MBA from IESE Business School.
