Career Advice in Times of Crisis
Today´s fragile job market is a daunting challenge for many recent graduates and for those considering changing careers. This time of uncertainty intensifies the complexity of job hunting and it forces jobseekers to consider career options that are very different from what they initially imagined. Opportunities are limited and at the same time new horizons open.
How do you manage a career in times of crisis? How do you navigate job search? What are the actions you need to take in order to land your dream job? How do you stand out in a job market with limited options? How do you develop a career strategy that covers your short and long-term career aspirations?
These are just some of the questions that will be tackled during the online session, hosted by the IESE Alumni Chapter in Japan for all alumni and friends in Asia. During the session, IESE alumni Mr. Ken Inouye of Amazon and Mr. Adrian Gregory Lui of Google will share their perspectives and lessons from their own personal career experiences during the financial crisis of 2009. Mr. Carlos Olave, the LG Electronics Global Head of Human Resources, will facilitate the online discussion and will draw out audience engagement.
The session will be held in English. We will send you a Zoom URL link for those who have registered for the event.
Become more future ready and exchange ideas with fellow alumni and current students during this live session. We very much hope to see you there!
