El sector de Alimentación y Bebidas ha adquirido durante la pandemia toda su dimensión como actor económico y social esencial. Ha debido afrontar todos los retos imaginables desde un punto de vista de dirección de empresas: desde la gestión financiera, la gestión operativa y logística tensionadas por el comportamiento del consumidor y la gestión de personas que han debido seguir trabajando en situación de riesgo, entre otros retos.

Teniendo en cuenta todos los aprendizajes de esta primera etapa, en esta sesión el Prof. Adrián Caldart junto con Josep Maria Bonmatí, Director General de AECOC, Mauricio García de Quevedo, Director General de FIAB y Josep Tejedo, Director General de Mercabarna reflexionarán sobre los retos del futuro y los ajustes y cambios estratégicos necesarios ante la nueva normalidad.

    Senior Lecturer of Strategic Management

    Adrián Caldart holds a B.Sc. in Accounting and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, an M.Sc. in Management and Economics from ESEADE (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and a Ph.D. in Management from IESE Business School.

    Adrián is a Senior Lecturer of Strategic Management at IESE Business School. He is the director of the Business Policy Area, president of the Academic Council and professor of business policy at AESE Business School (Lisbon and Porto, Portugal). He is also a consultant in strategic planning. Before joining IESE and AESE, Adrián was an Associate Professor of strategic management at Warwick Business School (United Kingdom) from 2004 through 2009, where he is currently a Teaching Associate. He has also been a visiting professor at CEIBS, PAD, IAE, LBS (Nigeria), IEEM and ESCI-UPF, among others.

    Before joining academia, Adrián was an executive in corporate finance and corporate planning at Grupo Perez Companc in Argentina from 1993 to 1999 and at Grupo Techint (1992).

    Adrián coauthored the book ?The Dynamics of Strategy: Mastering Landscapes of the Firm? (2009, Oxford University Press). His areas of professional interest include corporate-level strategy, international strategy and the agenda of the CEO. He has published academic and managerial articles on these topics in the Academy of Management ProceedingsEuropean Management JournalEuropean Management ReviewManagement ResearchEmergence: Complexity and OrganizationHarvard Deusto Business ReviewHarvard Business Review Latin America and IESE Insight. He has also contributed to several books and has written over 20 teaching case studies on competitive strategy, corporate-level strategy, strategic alliances and post-merger integration.
